PDI (pre delivery inspection) is a service offered to prepare your new or nearly new vehicle on the day of delivery or at the dealers prior to your receival.
Unfortunately many new cars have paint defects caused either by contamination in storage, transportation or due to main dealer pre-delivery cleaning.
Often after receiving your new vehicle, you notice that there may be defects or something that you are not happy within the appearance of your paintwork, and then have to spend time taking it back to the dealership to have it corrected.
More often than not car dealerships will try to sell you their own protection package, they will bring in franchised or on site valeters who are usually inexperienced in the art of preparing your vehicle prior to you receiving it.
The de-contamination and preparation of the paintwork, alloys and trim is paramount, if not completed thoroughly and correctly the protection is rendered worthless and will deteriorate prematurely.

Ultimate Protection Detail.
Lower paintwork, shuts and arches pre-rinsed using citrus based products,
Alloys cleaned using various soft brushes and ph neutral cleansers,
Foaming concentrate applied and left to dwell before rinsing,
Foaming agents applied through lance to loosen soiling and deposits,
Washed using Z-7 ph neutral showcar shampoo and 100% lambswool mitts,
Transport film adhesive removed,
Paintwork clayed to remove all bonded surface contaminents,
Re-washed using Z-7 shampoo,
Vehicle dried with uber plush drying towels,
Paintwork cleanser applied via machine to remove dead paint cells and to provide a perfect base to aid sealant bonding, (non-correctional)
2x layers of sealant or 1 layer of high grade carnuaba wax applied to all painted areas (Additional layers of wax £25.00)
Tyres, rubber and plastic trim treated using water based dressings, free of harmful solvents or petroleum,
Glass cleansed throughout and externally sealed with a water repellant sealant,
Alloys and chrome trim sealed with PTFE based sealants,
Z-8 Grand finale spray sealant and gloss enhancer applied to all paint surfaces,
Interior vacuumed and trim cleansed,
Leather cleansed and fed using mild detergents and conditioners,
Upholstery and carpets treated with fabric guard,
Rubber seals fed and nourished to prevent sticking and premature wear.
Prices £225.00-£300.00 1 day booking required.
The above treatment involves using premium products and is best suited to vehicles with paintwork that is new or in like new condition or alternatively part of a correctional detail - prices will vary when combined with defect removal.
